Ivy Cottage is the quintessential australian timber cottage,complete with shaded verandahs,front & rear.It has been beautifully restored(circa 1880)& decorated with period style & genuine antique furniture to make it a true home away from home.The country kitchen is fully equipped(convection microwave)and has lovely views of our paddocks where horses & kangaroos graze contentedly.A large clawfoot bathtub with shower overhead is a special feature of the old world bathroom with it's black & white checkerboard tiled floor.The two bedrooms cater for four,one queen size bed & two singles.The separate laundry sits"out the back" in the cottage garden.Electric heaters are provided although our winters are very mild.Ivy Cottage enjoys a lovely rural setting amongst gum trees,just a kilometre off the Pacific Highway and five minutes drive into Grafton.

One of Australia's most beautiful provincial cities,Grafton (population 18,500) is renowned for it's trees,graceful old buildings and mighty river.
