Krakow was beautiful. The apartment was a very important part of our stay. The central location meant that everything was within easy walking distance. This helped us get more out of our four days. Arriving at the railway station we found it easy to walk through the Planty park to the apartment in less than ten minutes. Barbara was waiting with the keys and quickly managed to organise a second set so that we could have independent access. It was a nice welcome to find tea, coffee, mineral water and beer, so that within 5 minutes of our arrival we were able to enjoy a cold beer on the small balcony in the sunshine. During our stay we found everything we needed in the apartment, though with such a large number of excellent and economical restaurants in the area we did not bother to use the cooking facilities! The flat was in good repair, comfortably furnished, secure, and spotlessly clean - so we did not have to worry about anything.
