Villa Coco Loco is located in the protected holiday resort: Punta Cana Resort & Club. The villa is directly situated on the 18-holes golf-course designed by P.B. Dye, overlooking the fairway and green of hole one and only a few hundred meters away from white sand beaches of the Caribean sea, driving-range, Golf Club-house and restaurant. A second golf-course by famed architect Tom Fazio is planned to open in 2005. The Resort offers several restaurants, a marina featuring deepsea fishing, diving and water sports, horseback riding, a tennis center with clay-caliche courts, and an international biodiversity center operated with Cornell University. The resort is the vacation home of the famed Dominican couturier Oscar de la Renta, singer Julio Iglesias and film star Mikhail Barishnikov.
