With 25 ski-lifts and over 160 km of superb ski slopes and almost guaranteed all day long sun, Crans Montana ski area overlooks the Rhone valley and the Plaine Morte glacier at an altitude of 3000 meters.
Aminona has its own cable car station and in winter, has a large portion of its ample ski area reserved for snow boarders to creatively improve their style and acrobatics. The resort itself is in a quiet location surrounded by nature. There are a range of restaurants, a small shop and sports shop close by in case of need. The busy town of Crans Montana can be quickly reached by taking the free shuttle service. It offers a range of natural attractions as well as casino, cinema, disco and has numerous international events between July & August as well as December to April. Summer Beaches are located by spectacular lakes and waterfalls. In summer, you will be able to tour the area by mountain bike as once in Aminona, the roads to Montana and Crans are not steep. If you wish to ride down from the mountain top, you can load your bike onto the ski-lift and avoid the tough cycle uphill. You can also go down to Sierre by bike and return (with your bike) by funicular.
Aside from an almost unlimited choice of all levels of walks & trails, you can enjoy a husky dog ride or cross country skiing on the glacier amidst astonishing scenery. Leukerbad, a nearby resort (5 hours walk or a 60 minute drive) offers an indoor and outdoor spa. Imagine, there the roads are heated by the hot spring water found naturally in the region

These will vary depending on different aspects of your booking i.e. the day of the week you would like to stay (hint: weekdays except Fridays are cheaper), the week of the year you wish to stay (Christmas and New year are the most expensive), how far in advance the booking is made (hint: the earlier you book the better).

If you stay for longer than just a few days, or if you pay in advance of your arrival, you will qualify for a discount.

Note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. In the case of non-Swiss residents, breakage/damage insurance is charged at 10 Euro per day (the Swiss are already insured for “responsabilité civile). Tourist tax is additional and costs, in Swiss francs, 2.50 per day for adults and 1.25 for children (6-16).
