Located near a quiet bay called Lagoen, (the Lagoon), Villa Salina was inspired by the flavor and spirit of the traditional Dutch architecture of plantation homes on Bonaire, as seen 150 years ago. The private gardens were designed and landscaped by a professional landscape architect. By using imported tropical plants and trees, a sense of depth and balance was achieved to enhance the colonial setting. More than 30 trees and over 1,500 plants have created a lush oasis. There is plenty of room for sun tanning, a quiet spot of reading, or simply a gentle stroll to discover an unusual flower or tree.
The Maid's house is a totally self-supporting small unit with a kitchenette, 4 ring gas stove and bathroom. It is designed as a small guesthouse and will sleep two extra guests. On request beauty treatments and sport-massages can be given here by our trained and certified staff. Just let us know in advance.
Inside the atmosphere of the past is created with the addition of hardwood floors and high ceilings. You will find a large living area with all the comforts of home: two comfortable sofas, an antique dining table and chest, adjustable halogen lights cable TV and a stereo. Upstairs is the vide that can be used as playroom for the children, or as a fourth bedroom.
The very spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a large American fridge/freezer, icemaker, 4 ring gas stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, utensils, pots and pans....all the necessary items to do home cooking. The local supermarkets carry all American and European brands from Hellmann's mayonnaise to Dutch Calvé peanut butter.
Villa Salina houses three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a modern comfortable queen-sized bed, dimmed halogen lighting, television, two bedside tables, two large built in closets for storage and adjoins a luxurious bathroom. The two other bedrooms have, comfortable beds and share the second bathroom.

You'll never be bored on Bonaire. There are many things to do including scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, exploring the mangroves, bird watching, spotting Iguanas Geckos Donkeys and Goats, hiking, mountain biking, (para) sailing, fishing, windsurfing, laying on a beach, water skiing, and eating great food. There are also two casino's and a Harley Davidson rental company.

Weekly rent excludes 10% service charge, tourist tax(US$ 5,50 p.p per night from age 13+). Max 8 persons per booking. Rates are subject to change until a signed copy of the confirmation is returned to Villa Oud Lagoen. (Telecopied signatures are valid)
Any incidental charges such as laundry service, beauty treatments, massage treatments, babysitting, additional cleaning, or surcharges will be handled directly between guests and the property.
All changes and in-house extensions to existing reservations must be coordinated through Oud Lagoen Villas by contacting us through e-mail.
If elected, Oud Lagoen Villas may collect fees and additional charges for extensions, any missing or damaged property from the guests issuing credit card.

Cancellation Policy
Oud Lagoen Villas must have a deposit and a valid credit card on file for all reservations. Reservations are refundable up to 31 days prior to arrival date. Reservations cancelled in side of 31 days are NON-REFUNDABLE. Any changes to a reservation must be made within these time frames and are subject to availability.
Cancellations must be made in writing, and e-mailed to us.
No Shows are subject to full payment penalty.
There are no refunds for early departure.
Cancellations 31 days prior to arrival date are subject to a one room night and tax cancellation fee.
Cancellations made inside of 31 days prior to the arrival date are NON-REFUNDABLE (deposit).
