Ground floor of a Semi-detached village house in the heart of the village of Torino di Sangro, a thriving agricultural village located 5km from the Adriatic coast in the foothills of the Maiella mountains. The house has a king size bedroom with wooden beamed ceiling and a twin bedroom, a shower room with toilet and washbasin, modern fitted kitchen and a living/dining room with high vaulted stone ceilings. Outside is a patio with table, chairs and parasol for outdoor dining and a walled patio area. Outside the back of the house is a quiete walkway leading up to the scenic village wall walk to the village.

Torino di Sangro is well positioned being 45 minutes from Pescara airport, within an hour of ski resorts and only 5km from the Adriatic coast. The local sandy beach le morge is one of the nicest in the area but the whole coast line has beaches worth exploring and stopping for fantastic fish restaurants and to view the unique Trabocchi which are dotted along the coast. The Abruzzo food is one of the most varied in Italy reflecting the richness of the agriculture, fishing and farming in the area. Typical crops are Olives, Montepulciano and Trebbiamo grapes, lemons, pomegranates, nuts and tobacco. Locally the nature reserves at Punta Aderchi is brilliant for viewing rare flora and birds and the Lecetta turtle reserve is run from the village. Vasto and Lanciano are the nearest large towns and have the usual sporting and leisure facilities, swimming, bowling, water park, markets, shopping centres. It is a joy to explore the various hilltop and mountain villages in the area and the Abbey of Saint Giovanni in Venere is a must.

To reserve the property drop me an email and I will hold it for you until you are able to arrange the 30% deposit. Full payment is due 8 weeks before the start of the rental and a £100 damage security deposit is payable at the same time. This is refunded after departure and we don't deduct for minor damage.

Service Charge of £40 from April to October and £100 November to March covers all utilities, bedding, towels, tea towels, cleaning before and after the visit and a local welcome pack including local wine and beer. Heating is expensive in Italy hence the dearer charge in winter
