Residence Cocotte is a recently built villa, conceived and designed to provide you with all comforts. It is an entirely airconditioned, cosy and convivial guest houses in a quiet and charming area led by a private family. Grand Bay is among a main tourist village with all amenities in the nearby. It is also the place that Mauritians head for if they want a night out for entertainment and fun (restaurants, bars and discotheques) and great shopping from the local market to the expensive boutiques and galleries. Also nearby is Perebere another beach resort with bars and restaurants as well as a lovely beach running on from Mont Choisy yet another area of natural beauty and renowned as the longest beach in Mauritius.
The guest houses comprise:

Two x 2-bedroom apartment (3 -4 persons) - 45 Euros per person
Two x 1-bedroom apartment (1 - 2 persons) - 35 Euros per person
1 x studio ( 1- 2 persons) - 15 Euros per person

Each apartment has its own kitchen and living/dining area equipped with a TV and bathroom with hot/cold water 24 hours. Each apartment has a balcony. Air-condition is optional. The Open verandah at the front of the Villa provides a relaxing and cool area where guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, rice cooker, water cooker, coffee maker, gas cooker and all kitchen utensils to prepare a meal. Each apartment has an iron + table although a laundry service is on request at a fee.

Services are provided for cleaning and changing bed sheets and bath/kitchen towels.
Bedrooms are with all comfort, bathroom with shower and private toilet.
All linen and towels are being provided free of charge.
From the villa at Grand Bay, 10 mins walk to any buses going anywhere to the other part of the island. The villa is situated near the centre of Grand Bay (10 min from the hypermarket Super U and 200 meters of the beach).
Pereybere area
Grand Bay is protected from the south east trade winds and with sunny skies almost all year round, Grand Bay has been able to add good weather to lovely scenery and become the most popular tourist area on the island with his nice beaches. Grand Bay is a bustling resort with everything you could need during your holiday. The bungalow is situated near the centre of Grand Bay (10 min from a very big supermarket and 200 meters of the beach), you will also have access to all the services (Local Tour Operator, Doctors, Pharmacies, Banks, Post Office, office to exchange money, Restaurants, Bus, Leisure, laundries, hairdressers, water sports, beaches, Car Rental, dentists,etc...).At 3 Km is situated the longest village on the island, offers the opportunity to visit the biggest Hindu temple. Departure from the bungalow to the big jetty for the cruise on the northern island is only 200 meters. The cluster of small islet ( Flat island, Gabriel Island and Gunner's point) off the north coast has become a favorite stop for catamarans and diving groups. The famous botanical garden of Pamplemouses is only at 15 minutes from our bungalow. The capital of Mauritius, Port Louis is at 20 minutes from Grand Bay.

Grand Baie is a very popular tourist destination in Mauritius. It is a resort tow and in the recent years has become quite a popular tourist attraction of Mauritius. It is located on the northwestern coast of Mauritius. The area is extremely picturesque and very lively during the day and the night. So if you are going to Mauritius, make sure you go the Grand Baie.

The major attraction of Grand Baie is the beautiful sea. The crystal clear water and the soft, white sandy beach make Grand Baie so popular. Grand Baie offers ample opportunity for water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, etc. the submarine cruises available here are quite famous as well.

Grand Baie is also known for its bustling markets. The very fashionable and up market shopping facilities at Grand Baie make it a great hit with tourists. The many shops, small stalls and even roadside vendors sell a variety of items ranging from clothes to household commodities. What is especially famous in the markets of Grand Baie are the handicrafts sold here. The handicrafts available in the markets of Grand Baie are very renowned.

Airport transfers can be arranged at a cost of approximately £30 each way. Our driver holds a card which displays your family name as you exit the arrivals building. Payment for airport transfers can be settled directly with the driver whilst in Mauritius in either £'s (GBP) $'s (USD) €'s (EURO) or local currency in Mauritian Rupees.

A 20% deposit of the total amount will secure your accommodation. A invoice is emailed to you and it explains how to proceed with placing a deposit payment. The remainder is then due 10 weeks prior to your date of travel and may be subject to slight adjustments depending on your provision of exact dates.
