Description

This luxury Swiss Chalet, built for the owners in 1986, benefits from southeastern exposure in the sunlit Val Lumnezia ("Valley of Light")in southeastern Switzerland's rugged and beautiful Canton Grisons. It has a near panoramic view of a wide green valley and alpine snow-capped peaks.

Morissen is a small working village with year-round residents and a sprinkling of vacation chalets. Access is maintained year-round by the local authorities. A restaurant, a dairy and a small market are within walking distance. Both Zurich and Milan airports are accessible by 1st class expressways and motorway and are only 2 to 3 hours away. Ilanz, a medieval city nearby, is a major railway take-off point for the Glacier Express and Upper Rhine river rafting. Postal bus connections are varied and frequent.
The Chalet features large living room, a separate circular dining area, ultra-modern kitchen and bathroom facilities and a wet bar. 2 independent phone lines with modem receptacle, 117V/220V equipped office area with fax machine, stereo, and intercom are also included. The Chalet is fully furnished and equipped for worry-free move-in for long or short stays.

A porch, wood balconies and a large flagstone terrace for
sunbathing or entertainment complement the natural surroundings. The open-beamed ceilings, carpeted parquet floors and Norwegian decorated Kachelofen complete its rich and comfortable environment. It also includes a four-car garage and central heating is available year-round.
