A very typical old three storey house, completely renovated, in the medieval centre of Pescasseroli (Italy, Abruzzo region, between Rome and Naples), the little (2000 inhabitants) “capital” of ABRUZZO National Park. PESCASSEROLI (1.200 m. a.s.l.) is in a green sunny valley surrounded by mountains (2.000–2400 m). There are a lot of itineraries you can walk all around in the Park. You can walk, ride, swim in a little lake 15 Km far away or in a public swimming pool. If you are lucky, you can see animals: bears, wolves, chamoises..There are one double bedroom, a second room with two closing beds and two full bathrooms, a large living room ( with a sofa-bed for two people) and a separate dining room with fully equipped kitchen. Full gas heating .
The neighborhood
Pescasseroli, a place for winter and summer holidays, is a little mountain village only two hours from Rome, by car or , in summer, by coach. There are a lot of facilities: restaurants, shops, churches, the Museum and the Reception Centre of the Park, one public swimming pool (covered), a lot of riding centres. From our house you can reach the other typical little villages of the valley (Opi, 5 Km, Villetta Barrea, Civitella Alfedena (10 Km), or go visiting Rome and Naples (2-2 hours by car, 150 Km. each).
